George W. Treutelaar

Mr. Treutelaar is proprietor of Great Lakes Plumbing and Heating Company, one of Chicagoland’s largest with more than 150 plumbing and heating professionals and a total of more than 350 employees. Great Lakes’ principal business is residential, commercial and new construction.

Mr. Treutelaar serves as co-chairman of Local 130’s Joint Apprenticeship Committee and Chairman of the Labor Relations Committee. He is a director of the Plumbing Council of Chicagoland, where he serves as a member of the Financial Investments, Insurance and Employee Evaluations Committee. He also is a member of the Plumbing Contractors Association and the National Fire Sprinkler Association, Northern Illinois Chapter.

Mr. Treutelaar and his wife, Kathy, are proud parents of three children: Justin, Matthew and Courtney, and one grandchild, Lilly.
