M. Scott Hoffman Secretary
The second of three sons born to Sheryl and Ralph Hoffman
in Chicago, Scott Hoffman has followed in the successful footsteps
of his father and grandfather into the plumbing industry.
A member of the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Local Union 130,
U.A. for 21 years, Mr. Hoffman’s professional life began
as a child, working alongside his grandfather, William J.
Reichert, an industry leader and local legend. Mr. Hoffman
completed work at the Local 130 Apprenticeship School and
entered the plumbing field in 1986. He began working for Fettes,
Love & Sieben, a family business with a rich reputation
in the Chicagoland plumbing industry since 1924. Mr. Hoffman
has worked as a plumbing foreman, superintendent and estimator
overseeing countless industrial projects on Chicago landmarks,
hospitals, schools, businesses and lakefront properties.
Currently, Mr. Hoffman serves as Vice-President of Fettes,
Love & Sieben. Like his father and grandfather, he has
made plumbing more than a profession by answering the call
to service within the industry. In addition to serving on
the Promotional and Advertisement Committee of the Plumbing
Council, he also serves as a member of the American Society
of Sanitary Engineers and on the Joint Arbitration Board of
the Plumbing Contractors Association of Chicago & Cook
County. He has appeared frequently on the Plumbing Council’s
popular segment, Ask Your Plumber, aired regularly on WBBM-Radio
on Saturday mornings.
Mr. Hoffman and his wife Susan live in Glenview with their
two children, Michael and Hailey. He is active in several
basketball leagues with his brother Bob and continues to maintain
a lifelong whiffle-ball game with his brother Ray. In his
spare time he also enjoys boating and golfing.
