Robert C. Avino
Director
Mr. Avino is the proud proprietor of the Ramm Plumbing Company
of Elk Grove Village and is currently serving as Director
of the Plumbing Council of Chicagoland.
Bob has over 30 years experience in the plumbing industry.
He began working for his father’s company, Ramm Plumbing
Company, during high school in 1971. He served his apprenticeship
through the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers, Local 130, U.A.,
and became a Journeyman Plumber in 1980.
Ramm Plumbing Company was founded in 1974 by Bob’s
Father, the late Robert A. Avino – who served as Chairman
of the Board for the Plumbing Council of Chicagoland from
1994 through 2000 – and his uncle, the late Ralph “Spanky” Avino.
Bob became the President and Contractor in 1984, and the
CEO in 2004. He currently runs the company with his two brothers,
Steve and Frank, and his sister Mary.
Bob is a member of the Plumbing Contractor’s Association,
Northwest Builders Association, American Society of Plumbing
Engineers, American Society of Sanitary Engineering, International
Code Council, PAMCANI and PHCC.
Bob attended Holy Cross High School in River Grove and Loyola
University in Chicago. He is a member of St. Raymond’s
Parish in Mount Prospect, Rolling Green Country Club in
Arlington Heights, the Loyola Academy High School Father’s
Club, and participates on the Loyola Academy Hockey Club
Board.
Bob and his wife of almost 22 years, Janice, live in Mount
Prospect and have two sons. Robert John is a freshman at
St. Louis University and Nicholas is a sophomore at Loyola
Academy High School.
