Legislative, Nominations, By-Laws and PAC Fund Committee

Duties:

  1. Committee members annually review by-laws
  2. Review and submit nominees for Board of Directors and Officers
  3. Review pending and new legislation
  4. Review PAC fund by-laws
  5. Review all contributions and requests and solicit funds from individual contractors

Financial Investments, Insurance and Employee Evaluations Committee

Duties:

  1. Committee members review asset management portfolio; investigate other investment avenues
  2. Review insurance policies and bonds
  3. Review insurance costs and obtain quotations from acceptable carriers
  4. Evaluate employees of the Plumbing Council for annual raises and bonuses

Promotional, Public Relations and Special Functions Committee

Duties:

  1. Committee members review charitable contribution request
  2. Review and approve the activities of the Plumbing Council, including but not limited to special industry events, etc.
  3. Review cost of radio and television advertisements
  4. Review cost of print advertisements
  5. Review existing and new promotional ideas
  6. Review web page
  7. Organize special events
  8. Plumber’s Quarterly and conduct fundraisers (if needed)

Education Committee

Duties:

  1. Committee members monitor seminars
  2. Develop relationships with all entities in the industry and liaison with the Plumbing Contractors Association
  3. Review the Plumbing for Seniors Program
  4. Initiate scholarship program and liaison with other scholarship programs and make awards recommendations
